Multimedia Content Creator & Video Editor — WFAA-TV, Dallas July 2021 – Present

Producing original motion graphics and video content for one of the largest ABC affiliates in the country. Work spans a wide range of formats and deadlines, from daily graphics requests to franchise series airing in evening and morning newscasts.

  • Produce layered motion graphics anchor packages for weekly franchise series

  • Create cold opens for news broadcasts and specials

  • Collaborate with producers, anchors, and reporters to develop franchise series look and feel

  • Step in as editor for live daily newscasts across morning and evening programming

  • Produce digital first vertical video content optimized for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

News Video Editor — KTUL, Tulsa June 2013 – July 2021

Eight years editing daily news, packages, and special projects across four newscasts. Contributed to storytelling at every level, from graphics and editing to web publishing and media distribution.

  • Edited video and packages for 4, 5, 6, and 10 PM newscasts

  • Collaborated with producers and reporters on long-form and investigative projects

  • Distributed video to media partners and published content to the station website
